Library Card PolicyOregon Trail Library District cards allow their holder to borrow any of the wide variety of free information and entertainment materials. They also provide access to the District’s electronic resources from home, office, or school.
Meeting Room PolicyThe Oregon Trail Library District Lobby areas shall be for library use and library informational displays only. Visitors to the library, City Hall, and Veteran’s Services may use the lobby for short waiting periods. Loitering is not allowed.
Public Records PolicyAs it values transparency, Oregon Trail Library District fully complies with the Oregon Public Records Law. Every person has a right, guaranteed by the Oregon Public Records Law, to inspect any non-exempt public record held by the District. The public may request to view District records that are not exempt per the Oregon Public Records Law and other District policies.

Unattended Children PolicyOregon Trail Library District welcomes and encourages library use by children. Providing quality materials and services to young people is one of our primary responsibilities. Parents and guardians are advised, however, that the Library is a busy, public place and that they are responsible for monitoring and regulating their children’s behavior, safety, and welfare while on library premises.
